This kagura depicts the story of Taira-no-Koremochi, who went to see fall leaves in the area of Togakushi, Shinshu (in Nagano prefecture) and invited by the group of party who were enjoying sake. He was fall in sleep and dreamed a strange story to meet monstrous ogre or devil.

He wake up and fought ogre with the sacred sword given by Hachiman deity.

This story came from Famous Noh episode called Momiji-gari.

This story said to be in the middle of Heian period (794 – 1192.)
